New Year New You Clothes swap 16th Jan.
Come grab a drink at The Dove and a whole new look. Swap your unwanted Christmas presents and start the year with a revived wardrobe.
Start the year as you mean to carry on!
Take your clothes round to dining room, you will be issued one token per item; please only bring clothes in good condition.
Browse the racks and exchange chosen items for tickets at the desk. If you spot something you would prefer you can re-exchange clothes for tickets all night.
Stick around to the end. People will be arriving until all evening and something you see in someone else arms may still become available.
Any clothes not claimed at the end of the night will be donated to our chosen charity - St Joseph’s Hospice.

Veganuary is here again, are you going to give it a go?

We all know its is good for us, the planet and our purse to eat less meat. We have edited our menu and selected our great vegan dishes for you to try.
At the Dove we have been moving towards a great meatless offering for many years. We even to a traditional Vegan Sunday Roast.
We believe in great food - meat or no meat!

We've done it before and it hasn't been great, but really, how bad can it be this time...?
Continuing our tradition of political events The Dove will be staying open until 2am for the general election results on Thursday December 12th. We're all still hopeful here at The Dove, but if it doesn't go to plan you're going to need some friendly faces around you.
We'll have a big screen showing the results, plenty of like minded people to celebrate (or commiserate) with, and enough alcohol to briefly forget the state of the country.
We hope you can join us to watch and discuss the coverage.

The book club is run by Jono, our brain on legs, he loves literally everything but particularly books and films. He is also a lovely person and very easy to get a long with. The session is once a month - the last Thursday of the month, and lasts an hour or two depending on the book and the views of the group. The club is free, all we ask is that you share your experience on social media.
