The Christmas Menu is served from Monday 4th December. If you require an earlier booking just let us know.
The set Christmas menu is only served if booked in advance and all members of the party must have the set Christmas Menu.
All members of the party need to take either a two or three course option we cannot combine options. If choosing two courses all the party must have either starters or desserts.

Deposit and payments.
All Christmas menus bookings need to be paid in full in advance, a minimum of 14 days prior to your booking date.
To reserve your preferred day and time we require a deposit of £50.00. Please see below for methods of payment.
On receipt of your completed booking form including menu choices and full payment your is then confirmed.
Changes may be made up to 14 days prior to booking date. Within 14 days changes may be made but no refund will be due if numbers in party are reduced. If your numbers increase we will always try and accommodate you but cannot guarantee this.
Deposits and payments are per person, non transferable, and cannot be used towards payment of the bill as a whole.
PLEASE WHEN MAKING PAYMENTS USE YOUR UNIQUE BOOKING CODE THIS IS THE INITIALS OF THE ORGANISER AND THE DATE OF YOUR BOOKING Monies cannot be allocated agains your booking without this reference number.
If paying by cheque then please make it payable to DOVE PUBS LTD .
If paying by CC card or in cash please pay in person at the Dove Apologies in advance but payments cannot be taken over the phone by card.
If paying by bank transfer this must be made by the party organiser as a single payment and you will be given a reference number for your booking which you must include with your payment.
Bank account name and number as follows
A 12.5% service charge will be added to the bill.
Seating and Table timings.
Depending upon the size of your party you will be seated at the same table or group of tables. Large parties may be split between tables
Lunch time bookings normally need to clear the tables by mid afternoon so we can prepare the tables for the evening service. Should you wish to stay on for drinks you are more than welcome and unless we absolutely have to we will not ask you to move. But will advise you in advance if this is the case.
Due to the size of The Dovetail we are limited in the size of parties we can comfortably accommodate and you are advised to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Please advise us as soon as you can if you or any member or your party is likely to be late. Given the nature of Christmas bookings and the knock on effect to other bookings it is important you let us know as soon as you can. We will not delay service for longer than 30 minutes from the booking time.
We will hold your table for 15 minutes from the confirmed time of your booking. If we do not hear from you to amend your booking we reserve the right to release the table for other guests.
Allergies or special dietary requirements.
Please advise us of any allergies or special needs at time of booking.. Full allergen information is available upon request. All our dishes are prepared in a kitchen where cross contamination may occur. We cannot guarantee that any of our dishes do not contain nuts or allergy containing ingredients.
We reserve the rights to substitute menu items subject to market availability. Should you have any special dietary requirements please let us know and we will always try and accommodate you. We will make available nearer the time a full list of all the ingredients and if you have any allergies please let us know in advance and check on the day.
